Wheelbarrow of Books

I collected books by their titles (body parts, colours, times of the day, the four elements);

 

I put one category of books at a time in my wheelbarrow and offered the books as gifts to people in the neighbourhood of my storefront studio on Oakwood Avenue, at the local library and at various art events.

 

I asked each recipient to allow me to photograph him or her holding the book.

 

I exhibited some of these photos in my storefront studio window and in the A Space Gallery windows at 401 Richmond St. in Toronto.
